Leaders have made considerable improvements since the last inspection, resulting in a Good Ofsted rating as of September 2023. Children are excited to attend and love exploring the many different learning experiences staff have carefully planned.

They are settled and develop good levels of self-confidence, thriving in a welcoming and homely environment where staff are nurturing and know each child well. The nursery has a clear and ambitious curriculum intent that prepares children for their next stage in learning.

Staff have tailored plans to meet individual needs, with a qualified special educational needs coordinator who has established good links with other professionals. Children have ample opportunities for outdoor play, including regular walks to explore the local rural area and daily fresh air in all weathers, learning about keeping safe outdoors and developing independence skills.

They enjoy nutritious snacks and home-cooked meals, and learn about healthy lifestyles. Parents note that their children make good progress in their learning and development as a direct result of attending the nursery.
