Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), make good progress in their learning. Children with SEND are supported very well. Leaders and staff work hard to ensure that children and their families have access to relevant support agencies. They communicate frequently with parents and work hard to support children. This helps staff precisely plan children's next steps. Consequently, they make good progress in their learning and development.

Outdoor space

Babies have daily access to the garden, where they learn to climb and safely explore the outdoors. Older children are physically active; they run in the garden with their friends and paint with brushes on the fences using water. Children become confident in physical activity.

We’ve delayed reviewing in the hopes things would improve however our experience hasn’t been great. Our toddler has been here for about 11 months. While credit is due to the lovely women working in the classes on a day to day basis, we’ve struggled greatly with reliability and a consistent, reasonable application of the wellbeing policy in toddlers moving through huge physical developments. Regular phone calls requiring our child to be collected for raised temperatures that have failed to match the three different thermometers we own (calibrated with our GP) has certainly affected our trust in the administration. The continual stress of attempting to perform work duties while waiting for the phone to ring makes the considerable cost of daycare somewhat void. A disappointing experience but certainly not an unfamiliar story with parents managing unreliable daycare services.
