Opening hours
Monday to Friday, 9am until 3.30pm
30pm, on a term-time basis. This childcare setting caters specifically for children aged 2–3 years.
Children are warmly welcomed, quickly settling in and happily engaging with friends and staff. The environment is calm and organised, allowing children to confidently explore and make their own choices from a broad range of activities that support progress across all areas of learning.
Staff are adept at knowing each child's individual needs, encouraging the use of home languages and consistently offering praise, which helps children to feel secure and valued. For children with special educational needs and/or disabilities or those in the early stages of learning English, staff utilise visual aids, signs, and gestures to aid understanding of the environment and routines.
There is close collaboration with parents and other professionals to ensure every child makes good progress. Children have many opportunities to develop fine motor skills, such as using chalks outdoors for drawing.
However, the Ofsted report from 5th September 2025, which rated the nursery as Good, notes that staff could strengthen the planning of activities to further promote children's large motor skills. Parents particularly appreciate the close working relationship with staff, which helps children settle in quickly.

Inclusion & environment
For children with special educational needs and/or disabilities or who are in the early stages of learning English, staff use visual resources, signs and gestures to help children to make sense of the environment and the routines. Staff work closely with parents and other professionals to ensure all children make progress.
Children have ample opportunities to practise their fine motor skills. They use chalks outside and delight in drawing pictures and shapes. However, staff do not always ensure there is a suitable range of activities during sessions to promote children's large motor skills.
