Inclusion & environment
Strong processes support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Leaders and staff work closely with parents and professionals to provide early and effective support. Staff set realistic but challenging goals to help children with SEND make progress.
The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
Unfortunately, our experience with Sanctuary was disappointing. Communication was unclear and important information was not handled in a transparent or supportive way. As a parent, this left me feeling uncomfortable and unsure, which is not something you want when it comes to childcare. I would advise other parents to ask very detailed questions before enrolling.
Read on GoogleWe honestly couldn’t be happier with The Sanctuary. From the very beginning, it’s felt like such a warm, welcoming place, and that’s made such a difference to us as a family. Our daughter absolutely loves going in each day — she’s always excited, which says everything really. It’s been amazing to see how much she’s developed since starting here, she’s learning new things all the time, and it’s clear she feels really safe and happy in the environment. The staff are just incredible. They’re so caring, attentive, and genuinely invested in the children. It never feels like “just a job” to them — you can tell they really love what they do. We’ve also really valued being able to build relationships with them; it feels personal, and we always feel in the loop with how our daughter is doing. Such a lovely, nurturing place — we feel very lucky to have found it.
Read on GoogleMy child seems very happy here and has thrived since she joined. Her speech and skills have grown rapidly. She loves all the different activities they do.
