About this day nursery

Tick Tock Day Nursery, registered in CRADLEY HEATH since 2003, provides childcare for children aged 1 to 4 years. The nursery operates from 7:30 am to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday, all year round.

While leaders have taken steps to improve, the provision still requires improvement, particularly in the quality of staff's teaching and interactions. Despite these areas for development, children are generally happy and settled, enjoying daily activities in the spacious garden and making choices from well-resourced playrooms.

The nursery promotes communication and language development, fostering a love of books and encouraging independence skills like putting on sun cream and managing toileting needs. Parents generally express happiness with the service, noting their children's contentment at the nursery.

What it's like

I can not fault this nursery. My children have settled in and really enjoy attending. The staff are very helpful and meet children's needs perfectly. They are able to accommodate for my children even with last minute changes. The atmosphere is very welcoming, the cleanliness is also a high standard. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents.

I would recommend this nursery to any parent in a heart beat. Wonderful, warm and patient staff who really helped my additional needs son really blossom and come out his shell after being isolated and misunderstood at his previous nursery! Can't wait for the journey my daughter will go on next year with the nursery!

I was hesitant to leave my baby with strangers, as every parent is. I viewed another nursery prior to this one and it just didn't alleviate my concerns or make me feel comfortable, so I tried tik toks, convinced I'd feel the same. To my pleasent suprise as soon as we went through the door we were greeted by the kindest lady and at that moment our little boy decided for us we were sending him there. He went straight to her and whilst we were shown round by the manager, he was very happy to be walked around by this lady. If he is ever upset I can always rely on the staff to give him adequate comfort and make him smile again. If I ever have any future children I'd send them here. Not only are all the staff friendly and helpful but the cleanliness is something else that sold it to me. They have a no shoes policy where you take them off or cover them at the door and I know that my little boy whilst touching the floor in nursery as little ones do that it is clean and germ free from what is bought in from shoes. My son has excelled academically and in general day to day activities since he's gone here, he surprises me every day with what he's been taught. I'll honestly be sad when he has to leave and go to school, it's like a home from home to him! If your going to choose. A nursery, make it this one, you won't be dissapointed!
