About this day nursery

Tinky's Day Nursery provides a stimulating and secure home-away-from-home environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years, prioritising their individual learning and development. The nursery is led by an experienced educator and mother with over a decade of experience in childcare, holding a master's degree in special education and extensive training in early years education and ABA therapy.

The philosophy centres on the belief that early years are crucial, offering high-quality childcare and education in a positive, respectful, relaxed, and homely setting. This approach is delivered by highly qualified staff who are sensitive to each child's and family's unique needs.

The nursery also strongly emphasises sustainability, incorporating a 'go green' ethos by recycling, reusing, and reducing waste, and educating children on sustainable living. Tinky's offers ample opportunities for play, exploration, and choice both indoors and outdoors, enhanced by regular outings to engage children with the wider world.

The team believes in a strong partnership with parents, fostering trust, respect, and understanding to benefit the children. They maintain an open-door policy, encouraging parents to discuss their aspirations for their children.

Tinky’s Day Nursery is a truly wonderful nursery with amazing staff. I have been very happy with their level of care. My one year old clingy son very quickly settled in and really enjoys going to nursery. The staff are lovely and warm and genuinely care for their children. The nursery is also very clean and regularly send updates which was important for us. They share posts of what your child is doing everyday with lovely photos and have a nursery cam for parents to access which puts a smile on our faces every day. I highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a nurturing, caring, professional and clean nursery for their child.

We have had a wonderful experience with Tinky’s Day nursery and couldn’t be happier with the care our son receives. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely caring, which made his settling-in period smooth and reassuring for us as parents. The environment is safe, nurturing, and well-organised, with engaging activities that support both learning and social development. Communication with parents is clear and consistent, and we always feel informed and confident about our child’s day. Our son has developed a lot since he got enrolled and we are very happy. We are very grateful to the whole team and would highly recommend this nursery to any parent looking for a supportive and high-quality early years setting.

In just three weeks, my daughter has truly blossomed at this nursery. She settled in so quickly and absolutely loves the staff and looks forward to going to nursery. She’s talking more, learning new skills, and is noticeably calmer and better at following instructions at home. The activities like creative arts, sensory play, and outdoor exploration are fun and engaging, keeping her excited every day. We receive daily photos, which is so heartwarming and lets us share in her day even when we’re apart. The staff are warm, caring, and really take time to know each child personally. They give me wonderful feedback every day, which really reassures me and shows how much they care. The environment feels safe, welcoming, and full of opportunities for growth. I couldn’t ask for a better place for my daughter to learn and feel happy.

Where do I begin, both my son and daughter attended Tinky’s my son first attended the nursery they had only been open for a few months and since then I had said to myself if I had another child they would only attend here. I then had a daughter whose last day will be this week Wednesday after an amazing 2 years at Tinky’s as she is going to reception in September. I couldn’t recommend the nursery enough Roopal the manager is absolutely amazing, the staff are all extremely friendly they will always go above and beyond in order to help you with anything you need, if your child needs extra support they will always be there to support them to give them the right support they need in order to excel. Thank you so much to all the staff and to Roopal for giving both my kids an unforgettable time at Tinky’s Day Nursery, wishing you all the best for the future you honestly deserve it. I want to leave a few pictures below of the beautiful graduation ceremony they held at the nursery for the children.

The activities are great and varied, my daughter is learning so much and her speech and indepence has improved a lot. We also love the live camera access and daily photo updates. It is a happy and nurturing environment, highly recommended.
