About this day nursery

Tots Are Us is an Ofsted-registered childcare provider located in Brunswick Green, Wideopen, aiming to be an extension of each child's family. The day nursery's primary goal is to ensure children end their day happily, having enjoyed their time with friends.

They believe that when children are engaged and having fun, their learning is significantly enhanced. The day nursery utilises an app to provide parents with real-time updates on their child's daily activities and allows parents to share milestones from home.

Tots Are Us is committed to the continuous development of its staff, investing in them for both individual growth and the benefit of the children. They also offer apprenticeships and work experience opportunities for those aspiring to work in Early Years education.

The team includes Owner/Manager Claire, who began her childcare journey volunteering and preparing children for First Holy Communion before establishing Tots Are Us. Vikki, a childcare assistant, brings extensive experience from school and nursery settings, particularly supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

Natasha and Laura are childcare apprentices, focusing on gaining qualifications and hands-on experience. Dudley, a hypoallergenic Bichon Frise, serves as the nursery's mascot, teaching children about animal care and responsible pet interaction.

My daughter has been going to tots are us the past year since she was 10 weeks old, and I couldn’t be happier with how good the staff are. They made my days going back to work so early on easier keeping me updated on how Amelia was and continue to do so now. It’s reassuring to see her happy to go in when we pull up, I’m glad I chose the right childcare ☺️

Our daughter has been at Tots Are Us for the past year and a half, since she was 1, and it’s reassuring how happy she is there. She absolutely loves going and always comes home excited to tell us about everything she’s done that day. She’s made some great friends there and often talks about both them and the staff. She’s always looking forward to her next visit. We also really appreciate how flexible and accommodating Tots Are Us is, which has been a massive help since I went back to work after maternity.

I was fortunate during my first time being a mother and going back to work to have chosen the right childcare provider. This was all during Covid and visits weren’t anything anywhere were offering. Both of my children have been with Claire and her team from 12 months old. Not only are they so supportive of my children but Claire and her team are always there to help at the door when life is a bit too much. A listening ear and supportive voice. My children love it here and their development is always at the forefront of the activities they do as well as enjoyment!! I’m so lucky to have a team looking after my littles, that care so much about them. It takes a village and they are truly apart of our’s.

My kids have been attending tots are us for 8 years now, both from young babies. Tots are us have been the best childcare providers we could ever hope for. Their flexibility and kindness has meant we’ve never had to worry about childcare that entire time and it has allowed me to work without stress throughout. I always highly recommend Claire and Tots are Us to anybody I speak to.
