After 9 years of all three of our children attending Toybox Day Nursery in Henleaze, I cannot recommend it enough as a safe, nurturing and friendly place for pre-school children to develop in. It really has been a home from home. Sarah, the nursery’s manager has done a particularly fantastic job of creating a lovely environment - whether working on upgrades to facilities or the property, or maintaining a brilliant team of key workers and assistants, there is just the right balance between focus on high standards and on letting children roam, explore and get messy, as they should! Trips out are a regular thing - whether to the park or to the local nursing home and 100% is put into recognising and celebrating all events in the calendar, from Christmas to Diwali! Our babysitters have always been Toybox employees and have shown such interest and enthusiasm for the children, even when they’re being hard work! Feedback is regularly asked for and promptly acted upon. The nursery’s support with transition to school for all three has been above and beyond! Toybox, we can’t thank you enough and as a family will all miss you very much!

A fantastic day nursery. My son has attended for the past 1.5years and he loved going everyday. The environment that the staff has provided has been instrumental in influencing his love for the outdoors and hands-on skills! Happy to recommend to any family considering day-care for their kids.

Such a lovely nursery, has really been great to see my daughters confidence grow so much since she has been at toybox. She loves all of the activities they do, especially the regular trips out to the park and the local church. She particularly enjoyed going to the fruit and veg shop and making smoothies back at toybox. Thank you to all of the staff who put in so much effort to keep the activities so varied and enjoy for the kids!

The staff at this nursery are outstanding, I can't fault them. Whenever I pick up my son he always has a smile on his face and seems so happy at the end of every day. The nursery is well run and organised and if I ever need to speak to the staff they always have time for me. Really happy with this choice of nursery.

Our daughter started at Toybox in March 2021, at the age of 1. Given the limited contact she had experienced during the first year of her life, I was really concerned about how she would deal with nursery. I had absolutely nothing to worry about with Toybox, the staff are so friendly and welcoming, and they treat every child as an individual. This approach has meant my daughter adapted to nursery so quickly and now runs in every morning. Since being at Toybox, her development and social skills have come along no end, each week she surprises us with new things she has learnt. The thought of dropping off your child with someone else is never easy, but from day one, I have never had any reservations about Toybox, and would recommend it to anyone.
