Established in 1982 as a community playgroup, it has evolved into a pre-school with four directors, moving to purpose-built premises in 2009.
The pre-school is known for its highly qualified staff, excellent resources, stimulating curriculum, and small group activities like Forest School, Cooking Club, and Curious Explorers. They divide the children into three age-appropriate rooms: The Nest for babies aged 6 months to two years, The Little Ark for two to three-year-olds, and The Ark for three and four-year-olds, each with a specific staff ratio.
They also feature a dedicated dining room with qualified staff to promote healthy eating habits and social skills, as well as purpose-built toilet facilities to encourage independence. Outdoor learning is facilitated by a covered deck and garden area.
