Inclusion & environment
Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and children who may need additional support, are making good progress. Staff know the children well and consistently support their individual needs, for example, by skilfully encouraging children who are developing their social skills to share experiences with others, following their interests.
Staff run daily forest school sessions and weekly beach school sessions to promote children's personal, social and emotional development. Children spend most of their day outside and have plenty of opportunities to be physically active, independently climbing equipment with three points of contact. Older children work together to carry logs and branches to create artwork.
