Violet Way Nursery And Care Club, located in Burton-On-Trent, provides childcare for children aged 2 to 4 years old. 15pm during term-time, the nursery offers a bright and inviting environment where children can freely move between indoor and outdoor areas.
Established in 2019 under its current registration, the nursery received a "Good" rating in its latest Ofsted inspection on 7 September 2021. Children are greeted warmly by experienced staff and engage in a balance of child-initiated play and adult-led activities, progressing well from their individual starting points.
The robust management team is dedicated to ensuring children are happy and well-cared for. Additionally, strong partnerships with parents are fostered through regular communication and opportunities to discuss individual needs and progress.
The nursery excels in supporting children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), with a dedicated SEND coordinator and bilingual staff who assist children learning English as an additional language. The large, well-resourced outdoor area encourages physical development and risk-taking, while connections to the school's forest area enable children to explore and understand the natural world.
Children also learn about healthy lifestyles, their local community, and diverse cultures, helping them develop an awareness of the world around them.

Inclusion & environment
Staff support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) well. The manager and the special education needs coordinator work closely with parents and staff to provide additional support to ensure children with SEND make good progress. Bilingual staff provide support for children who speak English as an additional language to develop their communication skills.
The large outdoor area is well resourced and enables children to practise and develop different physical skills, such as climbing, running and balancing. Children learn to take risks and develop an understanding of the natural world as they explore the forest area at the school, which the nursery is linked to.
