Inspector highlights

  • Since the last inspection, the experienced manager has made vast and improved changes to policies, procedures and practice, including secure recruitment and induction.

The deputy manager is also the special educational needs coordinator (SENCo). She leads this role with passion and expertise. The SENCo supports children very well to close gaps in their learning.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy play outside. They sit under the pergola and listen to stories. Staff encourage children to feel different material in the book as they read to them. Children enjoy searching for creatures that may be hiding under logs. Staff take children outside in all weathers. Children wear suitable waterproof clothing and shoes. They enjoy splashing in puddles before they return indoors.

It was OK but to be charged £25 for a balloon hitting the ceiling was too much plus 2 of the cafe customers to keep coming into a private party was out of order, the food was OK but could have been better

As always with this place it was fantastically disappointing with lack of correct information. Staff have again always had that attitude of do as little as possible to help.. I was Assured I would receive a phone call in the afternoon regarding a fairly serious matter after I was turned way in person due to been given wrong information as there web page is way out of date.. Two days and another visit later still no phone call. And just told to try again next week.. utter useless

My grandson, has a place at nursery within this building. They are fantastic with him. He loves to go there, and participe in the activities they provide. They also provide great courses, that are perfect for c.v fillers and progression for job prospects.
