My daughter has been attending Willow Day Nursery since she was 10 months old and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. The staff are warm, friendly and welcoming and go above and beyond to make my little girl feel safe and secure. The environment is bright & clean and encourages creativity and independence. My little girl is so excited to go each morning (she waves at the building when approaching it!). Would highly recommend to any parent looking for a loving and nurturing environment for their child.
Read on GoogleWe would 100% recommend Willow Day Nursery to all. Vicky, the manager, comes from a teaching background and ensures that all staff, policies and procedures are professional and child-centred. This was crucial to us to ensure our little girl was safe and happy when deciding to place her in their care. Since she has started, our girl has made heaps of progress developmentally and, most importantly, she runs through the door each morning. The staff absolutely adore her, and she loves them too. She often mentions Sophie when we’re getting ready on a morning, and has started chatting about her, which only highlights the positive relationships created between the staff and children. It’s incredibly reassuring on those days, when I’ve questioned returning to work full-time, to know that they treat her with the respect and love that she deserves. The communication from nursery is nothing short of excellent. We receive updates throughout the day that tell us what she eats, how much she eats, how long she sleeps, and when she has her nappies changed. The app allows for personalised updates that are so meticulously written, it’s almost like we can hear our little girl saying the words. There are regular photo updates, and we are able to message the staff (via the app) to ask any questions, which are always responded to promptly. We are over the moon to have Willow Day Nursery on our doorstep, and any child would be lucky to be part of the community that Vicky and all the staff have created.
Read on GoogleMy son has been going here since it opened and we've had no issues from day 1. It is a fantastic nursery, clean and vibrant with a truly engaging environment. My son loves the staff and activities. There is always a great schedule, with regular updates about key dates/themes upcoming, often having themed weeks and focus on particular topics, stories or books. My son loves coming home from nursery with a book they have been focusing on and telling us all about it. Vicky and the team are fantastic, they are very personable, take time to talk at handover, remembering key events and people in our home lives, so we really feel we get a personal touch. Lots of daily and weekly information is communicated through the app including meals, toileting, photos and observation updates on key milestones.
Read on GoogleSince our daughter moved to this nursery three months ago we have seen a huge difference in her fine motor skills and independence. She regularly tells us how much she loves her new nursery and that it makes her happy which is lovely to hear knowing she has settled so well and feels safe there. All the staff are great and friendly and they regularly use the app to keep you updated on a daily basis (something which other nurseries don’t do) On the whole we are impressed with Willow Nursery and glad we made the switch for our daughter.
