Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents are very happy with the care their children receive at the nursery. They report that their children are making 'great progress'. They enjoy receiving lots of information about their children's development, and report that their children love attending.
Inclusion & environment
All children including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) make good progress. Children with SEND are supported very well. The passionate designated coordinator acts promptly and makes timely referrals to professionals. Staff implement effective strategies to support children's development while they wait for professional input. Parents are included at every step.
Supporting children's physical development is of high priority across the nursery. Children have lots of opportunities to develop their large muscles and raise their heartbeats through self-chosen, or planned activities. For example, children enjoy moving their whole bodies to familiar songs with enthusiastic staff and older children skilfully use balance bikes to develop their core strength.
My daughter has been coming here for just over 6 months now and I can say I’m so happy she’s at Willows. We were recommended Willows and we trusted the persons judgement, the staff are exceptional. I’m always greeted with warm presence and smiles and even the staff who don’t look after my daughter’s room greets her by name. Since coming here, we’ve seen such a growth in confidence, learning skills and communication, which is all down to the care and love that goes on through her day. I’m always kept informed of what’s she’s been up to and how she’s been. A brilliant nursery.
Read on GoogleI went here as a baby, and now my son gets to go here too! As a first time mum you go with recommendations from friends, fortunately it didn’t work out and I’ve well and truly learnt my lesson. Stick to what you know. They were amazing when I attended as a child but even better now. It’s the first time I’ve been able to hand my son over to a care provider and just felt such at ease that he is in the best hands. They look after the children as if they are their own. I am forever grateful that I trusted my instincts and swapped nursery’s because this one has given me the experience I should have had when returning to work after maternity leave. Love the baby room too. A home from home. Experienced staff.
