Woodentops Day Nursery, situated in a charming Grade II listed Victorian villa from 1850 in a residential area of London, SW12 0LF, offers a warm and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. The nursery prides itself on providing a stimulating experience, with direct access to a large outdoor play area with an allotment for gardening, as well as dedicated indoor and outdoor spaces for babies and toddlers.

The experienced and qualified staff foster a positive learning journey, with a keyworker assigned to each child to monitor progress and maintain communication with parents. The curriculum is enriched with music, sports, and yoga sessions led by specialist teachers, all included in the fees.

Babies benefit from a separate sleeping room and a dedicated area for early development, while toddlers enjoy a spacious room with a conservatory for messy play. 5 and above can attend Woodentops Kindergarten during term time, offering up to 15 hours per week of a more structured educational experience.

Pricing & funding

Fees are based on full-day sessions from 8am to 6pm, with a minimum booking of three days. Monthly bills are calculated based on a 50-week year, ensuring fees are consistent each month and parents are not charged for the ten days the nursery is closed annually. Funding-adjusted rates are available.

Staff offer an inclusive service by supporting all children to participate in activities that meet their individual interests and needs. Staff are keen to work with other professionals to help support children with special educational needs. Children of all abilities are welcome in the nursery.

Outdoor space

The nursery has access to a small garden area and the main school's large outside play area. Older children have easy access to the small garden for free-flow activities. Children benefit from frequent outside play in the main school garden, which provides plenty of space to run around and use wheeled toys. Less mobile children can crawl safely on artificial turf.
