Woodhams Farm Day Nursery, nestled in the tranquil rural surroundings of Woodhams Farm in Kingsworthy, Winchester, is a modern, purpose-built barn-style nursery. Established in 2007, the nursery expanded in 2012 to meet increasing demand, adding spacious areas for pre-school children, a dining area, separate kitchen, and additional toilets.

With five dedicated base rooms catering to children aged 3 months to 5 years, along with versatile multi-purpose areas, Woodhams provides a comprehensive early years environment. The outdoor space is equally impressive, featuring several garden areas, a baby balcony, and a large hard-surfaced playground with a supersised sandpit, all designed to encourage a love for the outdoors.

The nursery prides itself on its highly skilled and dedicated team, which has consistently delivered exceptional care and education, earning three consecutive 'Outstanding' ratings from Ofsted in 2011, 2015, and 2020. The nursery is co-owned by Hayley Doncom, who has 16 years of experience in early years and previously worked at Woodhams as deputy manager, and Mark Robins, who has been the Finance Director since 2011.

Children are welcomed by passionate, supportive, and knowledgeable staff who build effective partnerships with parents. Children's behaviour is excellent, and staff use highly effective strategies to engage and empower them to work together and solve problems independently. Staff also teach children to manage their emotions exceptionally well, with calm and reassuring support.
