Zizu's Children's Day Care, established in 2016 by Maaz Rahman in memory of his late wife, offers a unique and flexible childcare solution born from a personal need for adaptable early years provision. Originally conceived to cater to working parents with demanding schedules, the nursery relocated in 2022 to a new Middlesbrough setting, boasting an inspiring space with a magical garden designed for forest school activities, outdoor exploration, and learning about nature and sustainability.

The nursery prides itself on its passionate team, dedicated to continuous professional development to deliver high-quality care. All staff members hold current paediatric first aid qualifications and are actively pursuing or have completed relevant childcare certifications.

At its core, Zizu's focuses on building strong relationships with families, valuing parents as primary educators, and enabling children to reach their full potential across social, emotional, physical, and intellectual domains. Outdoor space

Toddlers play imaginatively in the mud kitchen outdoors, and staff encourage them to extend their vocabulary. Staff teach children about nature and encourage them to explore the garden with interest. Young children thoroughly enjoy searching for bugs and shapes in the environment and use magnifying glasses and picture cards to help identify features.

My son moved from a different nursery to Zizu's and always struggled with being left at all. He settled in so quickly here and now comes home so excited to tell us about his day ! We love all the natural light in the rooms, the gorgeous garden and the warm friendly atmosphere created by the staff. Thank you !

Our son loved holiday club here and it's brilliant how they do days out. Staff are amazing, friendly and release the kids back into the wild extremely happy. Highly recommended for anyone wishing to attend. We will be back 😄
