Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Unique support is given to each individual child and family. For example, some children have a flexible timetable to allow for parents to attend appointments, and others need to catch up on time they have missed. Children who need extra support are quickly identified. Staff effectively work with different agencies to benefit the children and their families with their language skills.

Outdoor space

Parents particularly like the physical opportunities children have. For example, children play outdoors, riding bicycles and climbing, as many families do not have access to outside space. They also use scales outside to compare scoops of water and objects.

EAL / language support

Many children here speak English as an additional language. They are supported to learn English through visual aids and translators as they play. Staff also learn words in children's home language. This helps children make connections and build confidence. Staff effectively work with different agencies to benefit the children and their families with their language skills. Staff support parents to develop their own language skills during these support groups. Older children give demonstrations, and staff support them with descriptions in English and their home language, helping children to learn faster. The manager produces individual resources for families so that parents and children can learn English alongside their home language. She enables staff, children, parents and other agencies to communicate effectively by translating in meetings and newsletters.

Lovely and welcoming nursery with friendly staff who make it a fun, safe and lively place for the children to enjoy. My son has been attending here for past 4 months and loves every part of it. Every time he learns something new and interesting he loved the school so much that every morning he wake up with his joyful mood . Location is great, just off the main road in a secure building with large rooms and play areas for the children.

I am very happy with the care and attention my child receives at the nursery. The staff are kind, patient, and genuinely caring towards the children. They create a warm and safe environment where kids feel comfortable, supported, and encouraged to learn and play. I appreciate how the team treats every child with respect and understanding, and they always communicate well with parents about the child’s daily activities and progress. The nursery also provides a variety of engaging activities that help with children’s development, creativity, and social skills. It is clear that the staff put effort into making learning fun while ensuring the children are well looked after.
