About this day nursery

Bolton Children's Opportunity Group (COG) is a registered charity established in 1979, providing inclusive play sessions and specialised teaching for children from birth to five years old, with or without special educational needs and disabilities. The group aims to bridge the gap between home and nursery, fostering a supportive environment where children can learn and develop at their own pace.

COG offers tailored activities based on the Early Years Foundation Stage framework, promoting personal, social, physical, and communication skills. They provide a door-to-door minibus service for families who might otherwise face transport challenges.

Additionally, COG facilitates collaboration with various external agencies, including physiotherapists and speech therapists, to ensure comprehensive support for the children.

For what time a child member of my family spent here made her behaviours worse learning other behaviours from other children this is before she was diagnosed with autism and ADHD which she was failed but sent to this place if she had recieved her diagnoses she would have been placed in a more appropriate setting she went from mainstream education to this then sent back to mainstream education after this diagnosed with ADHD and Autism they recieved funding for her and she spent a further few years until being expelled indefinitely.

absolutely phenomenal nursery! Their knowledge is second to none, the staff really are awesome and do not get paid enough for what they do. My son has A.S.D and a developmental delay and the work they do with him and the other children in their high needs base is out of this world. We truly would be lost without them. Definitely recommend C.O.G to parents of all children! I'm just dreading the day we have to leave 😇
