Inclusion & environment
The manager uses extra funding to provide training, such as early sign and behaviour training, which enables staff to better support children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Parents who have children with SEND state that the manager goes above and beyond to ensure that the children and families get the help they need. As a result, children with SEND are very well supported to meet their potential.
Staff provide children with a wide range of physical activities, both indoors and outdoors. Children participate in various sports, such as endurance races, dance classes and games. This provides children with physical exercise, helping them to build strong muscles needed for later life. Staff support children to take risks during physical play, for example, ascending a climbing wall. Children also visit the woods where they find out about the local wildlife cycles, the ecological systems and the changing seasons, and learn about road safety and how to stay safe outdoors.
Our local Preschool in Box is now taking bookings for September 2023. Two of my three boys have attended this preschool and my 3rd is already booked in. I can highly recommend this Preschool all the staff are very experienced and have a passion for early years education. Recently rated Outstanding by Ofsted which just shows they truly are one of the best Preschools around!
Read on GoogleAn absolutely incredible preschool, totally devoted to preparing children for their primary school (& not just Box Primary!), with a real focus on play, creativity, learning and friendship. We've loved becoming part of this preschool community and our son couldn't be happier there.
