Brookfields Day Nursery, established by working mothers Elly and Zoe who boast over 15 years of childcare experience, provides a nurturing "home from home" setting where children can flourish. Elly, with a Level 3 in Childcare, and Zoe, holding a degree in Childhood Studies, initially launched Ezeez Kid's Club in 2008, expanding into a full day nursery by 2010.
They relocated their operations to Hatton in 2013, with their main setting there accommodating children from six weeks to twelve years old. The nursery prides itself on adhering to children's individual routines to facilitate a smooth transition into the nursery environment.
They offer flexible care including before and after school programmes, as well as a holiday club. The facility is thoughtfully divided into age-appropriate spaces—a baby room with a dedicated sleep area and outdoor play, a spacious toddler room with a variety of interactive play zones and shared outdoor access, and a large, bright preschool room that promotes independence through free-flow play and self-serve snack stations.
The nursery maintains strong links with local schools, focusing on preparing children for their next educational steps. Additionally, their Hatton kids club provides a dedicated space with numerous activities, including computers and gaming consoles, with access to outdoor areas and a nearby park.

Verbatim quotes recorded in the Ofsted inspection
Parents explain that they feel involved and fully informed about their children's learning and progress. They appreciate the good communication and talk of how staff give them ideas for home learning.
Inclusion & environment
Staff arrange the play environment to consider the current learning needs of all children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). Staff support children with SEND consistently. Those responsible for SEND are on hand to guide staff and help children. Staff work together with parents and the relevant professionals to ensure that support is provided in a timely manner. Children who require more support have targeted support plans in place.
The inclusive environment supports all children to be physically active. For instance, babies excitedly join their peers in water play, where they experiment with filling and pouring containers. Staff help toddlers to balance on tyres, jumping from one to another, holding their arms wide to balance. Older children confidently use their whole bodies to climb equipment and use tools to dig in the garden.
Absolutely fantastic nursery! The staff are brilliant and very caring and attentive. My son has settled so well here. 100% recommend.
