Inclusion & environment
Leaders prioritise inclusion and have secure systems to identify children who may need additional support at the earliest opportunity. Staff work closely with families and a range of external professionals, including specialist teachers, paediatricians and community nursery nurses, to provide targeted support and narrow gaps in children's learning and development. Staff undertake training in British Sign Language to enhance children's communication and language development, and additional funding is used effectively to provide tailored support.
Older children enjoy being active, particularly outdoors. They proudly practise new physical skills, such as throwing balls into a basketball net. Staff carefully demonstrate how to do this and offer encouragement and specific praise.
We honestly couldn’t be happier with Whitehouse Nursery, Hilton. From the very first day our son started, the team have been absolutely amazing. They made what could have been such an emotional transition feel calm, reassuring and positive for us all. Communication has been brilliant; we’re always kept informed about his week, what he’s been learning, how he’s developing and all the little moments in between. It gives us so much comfort knowing he’s in such safe, caring hands. A very special mention to his wonderful key worker, Claire. She has been so kind and nurturing towards him and equally supportive and reassuring to us as parents. You can tell she truly loves what she does and that makes all the difference.
Read on GoogleOur daughter has been here since she was 9 months old, she is now 2 years old and thriving at this nursery. Feedback on parent update calls is always amazing and the development that she has made since joining has been wonderful to see. The nursery wouldn’t be what it is today without the wonderful staff who work there. Everyone from office to the different rooms are so welcoming, helpful and easy to talk to. It’s a reassuring place to put your child when you’re working. Highly recommend! ⭐️
Read on GoogleWe couldn’t be happier with the support and care the Hilton team have provided for George. They have been fantastic at meeting George’s individual needs, always taking the time to understand him and support him. We always recommend the nursery to friends or people who ask how he’s getting on. Thank you everyone!
Read on GoogleAbsolutely lovely nursery and so supportive. I've had 3 of my children go here. Two with additional needs. All the staff in preschool and baby room have been absolutely amazing with my children. Kirsty and Elise have been amazing with trying to get help and support for my boys. I honestly cant fault the nursery. All the staff are so friendly and my kids absolutely love going there. The kids have come on leaps and bounds since starting white house nursery hilton. Between my 3 kids we've been there now for about a year and a half. I wouldn't put my children in any other nursery. Thankyou white house.
Read on GoogleMy daughter absolutely loves coming to nursery, she is in the preschool room and adores every single staff member within the nursery. As a parent, the nursery communicates thoroughly about all upcoming events and children's progress. The nursery itself is absolutely stunning, clean and fantastic toys. I am really happy my daughter has a space here.
