Sunflower Seed Preschool offers quality childcare for children aged 2 to 11 years, operating 51 weeks a year. They provide both preschool services and out-of-school care, with a capacity for up to 36 children.

The staff are qualified and passionate about early learning, striving to prepare young children for primary school. Sunflower Seed also maintains strong ties with Northborough Primary School to ensure a smooth transition for children entering formal education.
The preschool also provides breakfast and evening tea for children in out-of-school care, along with a variety of engaging activities.

Charges are structured by age groups, distinguishing between two-year-olds and children aged three and older. The nursery offers morning, afternoon, and full-day sessions, with options to include a hot lunch. Wrap-around care is also available through a Breakfast Club and two After School Club options.

Children enjoy learning about mathematical concepts, such as weight, capacity and volume. They skilfully fill and empty different sized measuring cylinders in the water tray outside. This gives children the opportunity to be curious and compare and understand ideas about more and less.
