What it's like to attend

• Children thrive in this warm and welcoming pre-school, settling quickly and becoming engrossed in their chosen activities.
• Young children independently select what they want to do and initiate their own learning.
• Children behave well for their age, with staff using clear and consistent reminders to teach sharing and turn-taking.
• During the COVID-19 pandemic, staff worked hard to maintain communication with families, helping children feel safe, settled and secure.
• Staff playfully interact with children and are enthusiastic, capturing children's interests and engaging them in learning.
• Children are skilful communicators, eagerly sharing toys and asking questions, with staff ensuring a rich vocabulary and thought-provoking questions.
• Provision for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities is good, with knowledgeable staff working with outside agencies for extra support.
• Children thoroughly enjoy being imaginative, working collaboratively and developing their ideas in play.
• Staff are led by a dedicated and passionate manager with a clear vision for further improvement.
• The arrangements for safeguarding are effective, with all staff having a thorough understanding of possible risks and knowing who to contact with concerns.
