Inclusion & environment
All children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), progress well. The special educational needs coordinator is knowledgeable and has a good understanding of how to identify and support children with SEND. She regularly liaises with other professionals, such as speech therapists and the local authority, and supports practitioners and parents to ensure children make the best possible progress.
The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.
Our daughter has been attending Explorer Nursery in Collier Row, and we are pleased to report that she has adapted remarkably well to her new routine. This positive transition is largely due to the dedicated team members who have cared for her. Their friendly, supportive, and nurturing approach has fostered a welcoming atmosphere that encourages growth. They have skilfully guided her out of her comfort zone, helping her to develop new skills and seamlessly integrate into the group of children. We are truly grateful for their commitment to her development and highly recommend them.
