Great Child Day Nursery, established in 2016, offers a nurturing and stimulating environment where children can flourish through play-centred learning. With strong partnerships with parents and a dedicated team of early years educators, the nursery provides high-quality care and education.

The nursery boasts spacious indoor and outdoor areas, including beautiful gardens and large play spaces. They offer flexible childcare options for children from three months old, operating from 7:00 am to 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday.

Fresh snacks and home-cooked meals are provided daily, with allergies catered for. Great Child follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum, with a significant focus on learning through play.

What it's like to attend

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children who are in receipt of additional funding are supported well. The manager ensures that any additional funding supports children's individual needs.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy taking part in a wide range of opportunities to develop their physical skills. This encourages them to take reasonable risks in their play. For example, they balance on crates and negotiate space as they use ride on cars and bikes.

EAL / language support

Children who speak English as an additional language are supported to practise English and some words in their home language. However, there are fewer opportunities to help children use their home language in a range of different ways.
