Green Shoots is dedicated to inclusivity and supports children with special educational needs or English as an additional language, ensuring all make good progress.

The preschool maintains high adult-to-child ratios, with 1:4 for 2-3 year olds and 1:5 for 3-5 year olds, and offers flexible session times to accommodate families, including those using funded hours. They provide healthy, homemade meals and snacks, eaten together in a family-like atmosphere to promote healthy lifestyles and adventurous eating.

The preschool also plans enriching outings, such as visits to local parks and shops, the Victoria Art Gallery, and community chickens, enhancing children's exploration of their local environment.
