My eldest daughter attended this nursery between 2016-2018, currently my son attends and my youngest daughter will be starting next year. All the staff are so friendly and really do care for all the children in their care. My son has had a recent diagnosis of ASD and I cant praise the Nursery Manager, SENCO and the staff who work in my sons class enough for all the help and support they have given my son and myself since he has been there. They go above and beyond and even work in their spare time to get essential paperwork done that has been required to obtain the additional help that my son needs. I personally applied for an EHCP for my son last year and the nursery helped me so much with the process, always accommodating with meetings and allowing professionals to visit, especially during the pandemic. They have been flexible with sessions in order to help my son settle, have implemented various communication strategies to help him communicate, adapted the environment to keep him safe and applied for additional funding to give him more support. Dont be put off by other reviews, if you have a child with SEN you can be reassured that Hackenthorpe Hall will make every effort to help and support you and your child

Wouldn't have even gave it one star but you have too to leave a review, basicly this is a good nursery if your child doesn't have additional needs like my son the managers told me I had to find a new nursery for my son because they couldn't be bothered with him even though funding was available to help them and my son they refused to apply for this. Bottom line is if your child has disability dont send them here.
