Headstart Day Nursery in Grantham is housed in a charming former school building, offering spacious and inspiring environments for children aged 0-4 years. The nursery operates Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 6:00 pm, closing only for bank holidays and the Christmas to New Year period.

The setting is divided into age-specific rooms, including a Baby Room (0-18 months) with a dedicated sleep area, a Pre-Toddler Unit in a cosy log cabin for mobile children, a Toddler Room (2 years+) encouraging curiosity and independence, and a Pre-School Learning Centre (3 years+) with both a Lower and Upper Pre-School focusing on structured learning and school readiness. Headstart Day Nursery places a strong emphasis on outdoor learning, with age-specific garden areas for babies and toddlers, along with a main garden for all children.

They also offer Forest School sessions for preschool children, led by a Level 3 qualified practitioner, which take place weekly at their sister nursery's dedicated site. Additionally, Headstart provides out-of-school care for children up to 11 years, including before- and after-school care for St Anne's CE Primary School pupils and holiday care open to all school-aged children, ensuring a safe and engaging environment with various activities and opportunities for indoor and outdoor play.

All staff are fully trained in paediatric first aid.
