Inclusion & environment
Children who have identified special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive effective support to fully access the curriculum. The coordinator for children with SEND demonstrates exceptional passion for inclusion and supports all staff to ensure that children with SEND are provided with tailored interventions to promote their good progress. Communication and language are a focus throughout the setting, with strategies used to support children who require additional support with their speech and language.
As children grow, staff plan opportunities for them to become involved in completing their own risk assessments. They undertake the role of outdoor detectives, looking for hazards and deciding on what action they need to take. In addition, staff use outdoor activities well to support children's understanding of healthy lifestyles and of life cycles, including planting vegetables and flowers, and going on bird and bug hunts.
My little one has been attending Holme Park full-time for 15 months and has been so happy there. She is thriving here and is a confident girl. They encourage her, she's safe there and loves going in. They do so many activities with them and you get photos and updates on the app (which makes my day while I'm at work). All the staff are also very friendly and they know the children well. I have recommended this nursery to two other families and their little ones love it there too. I get piece of mind knowing she's happy and that she's well looked after!
Read on GoogleOur son has really enjoyed being at busy bees. The staff are dedicated and friendly. They do a range of fun activities throughout the day and we cannot believe how well the fun activities And staff have helped him develop and grow as well as learn phonics and maths ready school. Would highly recommend this nursery to any parent.
Read on GoogleThe staff are so friendly and my little boy is obviously so happy here. The outside space is fantastic with each age group having their own area. My little boy is learning things I couldn't teach him on my own and he does so many interesting activities. The new app is great, I get live updates on sleep, meals, nappies and they upload nice photos of him enjoying himself occasionally. Its also nice that there is plenty of parking, which some nurseries we viewed really lacked. Important on a rushed work day! It takes a lot to trust someone else with your child but I'm totally happy that he gets the best care at Holme Park.
Read on GoogleCould not wish for a better nursery and caring staff. Highly recommend.
Read on GoogleMy 18month old son loves it here. The team are so friendly and caring, and have really taken time to get to know him. The purpose built building has plenty of outdoor space
