Jordans Village Nursery School is a welcoming and inclusive environment situated in Jordans, Buckinghamshire, where children can begin attending from two years of age. Typically, children stay for six terms, though this can be adjusted to suit individual family requirements.
The nursery prioritises continuity for families, giving preference in admissions to siblings of current or past attendees, and those whose parents intend for them to attend Jordans School. Most children start with two or three sessions and gradually increase their time at the nursery as they grow older.
Dedicated to creating an enriching experience, the nursery operates from Jordans Village Hall, which offers a secure, gated outdoor space with both tarmac and grassy areas for play. The school focuses on building a foundation for learning through engaging activities, a warm and supportive staff, and a diverse range of experiences.
They aim to foster critical thinking, active learning, and exploration in a stimulating setting. Additionally, Jordans Village Nursery School actively promotes British Values, encouraging democracy, individual liberty, the rule of law, and mutual respect and tolerance among its young learners.
They strive for flexibility to accommodate changing needs, offering ad-hoc sessions when space allows.

Inclusion & environment
Managers act with integrity and make the right choices for the right reasons. For instance, during the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, they identify families needing extra support. They maintain close contact during periods when children do not attend. They share resources and provide guidance to help parents to support their children's individual needs. Staff ensure that the nursery is inclusive. They work with parents, professionals and other settings that children attend, to help them to gather information about children's needs.
Children show their developing confidence as they say, 'Let's go and play outside!' The inspector observed the quality of staff's interactions with children during activities indoors and outdoors.
Jordans Village Nursery is one of the loveliest pre-schools in the area. Both of my children went through there and loved every minute of it. It’s a wonderful introduction to the world of school! They spend so much time outside, and have unique learning experiences for the little ones. All of the staff are so friendly, caring, and helpful, and I will miss them so much when my son starts school in September.
Read on Google🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 We couldn’t be happier with our daughter Isadora’s time at Jordan’s Village Nursery School. The nurturing environment, thoughtful activities, and dedicated staff have helped her thrive both socially and emotionally. Each day she comes home excited to share what she’s learned - from nature walks to creative play and early learning. The team truly cares about each child’s development, and the communication with parents is excellent. It’s a place filled with warmth, kindness, and a real sense of community. We’re so grateful for the wonderful start Isadora has had here - thank you to everyone at the nursery!
Read on GoogleMy son has attended Jordans Nursery and will be leaving this year to go onto school. We will both be so sad when he leaves as his time at the Nursery has been absolutely wonderful. He has excelled in ways we didn’t think would be possible for him and they have helped him blossom into a much more confident and secure child who is now ready to start school. I have had the pleasure over the years with my elder children to have experience of some excellent nurseries, but Jordans is definitely the most nurturing environment that I have been involved with. Any child attending Jordans can be assured of a very special environment filled with extraordinary staff xx

Having grown up in the area and run a business locally for nearly 30 years I can honestly say that they provide the best nurturing environment there is around!!
