About this day nursery

KiddieCare Nursery in West Drayton provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children aged 1 to 5 years. Located within The Yiewsley and West Drayton Community Centre, the nursery can accommodate up to 28 children per session.

The dedicated team believes in the power of learning through play, encouraging creativity, and fostering independence. Children spend a significant portion of their learning time outdoors in the garden area, exploring natural resources and developing their imaginations.

The nursery utilises the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework to plan activities that promote all areas of development and prepare children for school. Mealtimes are designed to encourage independence, with children pouring their own drinks and choosing their cutlery.

KiddieCare Nursery values strong relationships with parents and the local community, working closely with the local children's centre and the local authority Early Years team to ensure the best possible care and an enriching experience for every child. They maintain individual records of each child's development and progress through the Famly online system, ensuring that all children achieve their full potential.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Practice has been developed to ensure early identification of children requiring additional support. Staff work in partnership with parents to devise individual learning goals. Partnership working with the local authority ensures that staff and families have clear shared strategies to support each child to make good progress.

Outdoor space

Due to construction work, the outdoor play space has been relocated. Staff give clear instructions to children for walking safely across the carpark. Children wait at the door for staff to give permission to start. Older children are mindful of younger peers. They walk slowly, encouraging each other to be safe and stay together.

I cannot recommend Kiddiecare Nursery enough. From the very beginning, the care and support we have received has been absolutely amazing. Rachel, the manager, and all the staff are truly wonderful, caring, and incredibly helpful. They have gone above and beyond to help both of my daughters settle in , one of them she is in school now and second one just started her journey at Kiddiecare , they are showing so much patience, kindness, and understanding. It’s clear that the staff genuinely care about the children and their wellbeing, which has given me great peace of mind as a parent. The nursery has such a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and my daughters are happy, comfortable, and thriving there. I am so grateful to Rachel and the entire team for everything they do every day. Kiddiecare is a fantastic nursery, and I’m so glad we chose it.

Rachel and the team are absolutely brilliant. Rachel and Reece always have time for parents . They are fully aware you are leaving pieces of your heart with them and take care of all the children as their own. The professionalism this nursery has shown is excellent, cleanliness is a priority, the children’s day is structured and orderly yet fun, health and safety is a priority. This is the village we parents need.
