We love this nursery! Its such a beautiful setting and the staff are just wonderful! You feel like part of one big family. Our son transferred here when another nursery was closed by Ofsted. And we were in such a state of shock but the staff hrre have been so welcoming and they really listen to you as a parent and are effectively an extension of you as a parent to them. For reference, I'm writing this review with my boy 4 months in the toddler room. The staff make such an effort and my boys development has come on leaps and bounds since being here. Special shout out to the following staff: Naz, Lisa and Katie. They have left such an impression on us and really do take wonderful care, answering all our questions and making all 3 of us feel comfortable. Special shout to Lisa in particular who is just an astounding human and someone I am very happy my boy spends his time with. She is a ball of sunshine that one. Thank you all.
Read on GoogleMy son absolutely loves Poppy and Jack's Nursery after starting at 9 months old last year. We looked around half a dozen nurseries in the area and we were struck straight away by the friendly and enthusiastic staff. The staff are amazing, so kind and nurturing yet also encourage the children's develop at their speed. Everybody smiles and says hello to my son and us, from the chef to the Pre-School staff. My son loves to go and looks forward to seeing the staff in the baby room. He's made some lovely friends. I highly recommend Poppy and Jack's Nursery, I don't think I could have found a better nursery for my son.
Read on GoogleOur son started going here at 7 months old and has loved it so far. Never cries when we drop him off and always reaches for one of his carers when he sees them. The ratio of baby to carer always seems good whenever we go in. They send us updates throughout the day of pictures, sleep, meals, diapers. Will also send us reports once in a while on his development. The environment is always relaxed when we go in, always clean and secure.
Read on GoogleFirstly I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone. Having a daughter with special needs meant finding the right nursery was crucial, i visited a few local nurserys to find the right one from shiny new all singing and dancing nurserys to small setting nurserys. When I visited poppy and jacks everyone was so warm and welcoming and it was a lovely relaxed setting. They seemed to have more staff per child and everyone was busy playing and entertaining the children in the open plan rooms and out doors. They had everything the big new nurserys had but I found that because this was a smaller setting that they were more involved and the children weren't left to there own devices. This was crucial as my daughter with special needs who plays happily on her own could of been left out a bit at the big nurserys and when she first started at poppy and jacks she couldn't walk. This was no problem for the staff and from then on have really made an effort with Olivia in every way it is like one big family there which is brilliant. All the staff have a great understanding of Olivias and the few other children with special needs that attend poppy and jacks. A the staff have training and one member of staff has all the training and does all the extra things that are needed for special needs children, she also has a child with special needs so I knew olivia would be understood, and she is by every member of staff there. When i visited other nurserys they didn't seem to have any training or do extra paperwork and envolvment with the educational specialists that special needs children receive. They get all the children together and envolved in everything. Olivia loves it there as do all her friends that attend there. Plus the food that they provide is amazing and is always eaten all up everyday. The staff are very accommodating as well and really do very well with every child to teach them and do all the key skills as well as having lots if fun. I cant thank them enough for what they do there. I highly highly recommend poppy and jacks nursery for every child special needs or not. ❤
Read on GoogleWhat an outstanding nursery, I highly recommend it. They pack the days full of fun activities for the kids, which are geared towards their development. Our daughter's language skills have come on in leaps and bounds, and she has great manners which is down to nursery. The staff are amazing and always surprising us with little thoughtful extras. So glad we chose here for our daughter, and we've already got a place reserved for our second who's not been born yet!
