Little Acorns is rooted in inclusivity, partnership and child-centred care. We are a limited company with charitable status which is run by a committee of volunteers (Registered Charity Number: 1136626). We believe in creating a warm, inclusive, and nurturing environment where every child is valued, supported and encouraged to thrive. As a charity, we operate for the benefit of the children and families. This means every decision we make and every penny we raise goes directly into enhancing children’s early years.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured by age band, covering children aged 2-3 years and 3-4 years. The nursery offers options for full-time weekly enrollment, full days, or individual morning and afternoon sessions, with an additional weekly charge for extended hours.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Close monitoring of children's progress means that gaps in their learning are identified early on. Effective in-house learning support means that gaps are often closed before referral appointments are issued. Children with special educational needs and/or disabilities are well supported to achieve to the best of their abilities. Staff work closely with outside agencies to ensure that all children make excellent progress from their starting points.

Outdoor space

The inspector observed the quality of education being provided, indoors and outdoors, and assessed the impact that this was having on children's learning.

Brilliant nursery and excellent staff. If you looking for staff who are looking to go beyond and above for your child I would highly recommend. The staff were very helpful and the management was very professional and hardworking. My daughter is autistic and we wanted support from the nursery to apply for special school. The staff and management was able to assist with the paperwork and advise us through the process with professionalism through past knowledge and experience. Big thank you to Alison, Steph and the whole team!
