Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

Staff recognise when children need additional support to achieve their development milestones. They work closely with other professionals, such as speech and language therapists, to implement targeted support.

Outdoor space

Staff provide children with a language-rich learning environment indoors and outdoors. They plan a wide range of valuable outdoor learning experiences that motivate children to play and learn, such as two-year-old children carefully balancing as they walk up and down ramps, practising their throwing skills, and learning to ride bicycles and scooters.

EAL / language support

Staff provide children who speak English as an additional language with good support. They value the other languages that children speak and encourage them to use these in their play.

My daughter has been attending Lilypads for almost 2 years. She has thrived at the nursery, she has grown and developed massively. They are now focusing on getting her ready for school which is helpful. The staff are caring, patient and attentive to the kids. There are several updates every day so you can see what your little ones are up to (gives me peace of mind!) The nursery are also extremely helpful and flexible for parents. 10/10 would recommend this nursery. Going to be sad to leave in July!

My little girl has been at this nursery for 2 years and we will both be really sad to leave for big school soon. Every single member of staff is fantastic and clearly love their jobs. You get multiple, detailed updates/photos throughout the day of the children’s activities and regular progress reports on the Famly App and parents evenings. Drop offs and pick ups are never rushed.. the staff show a lot of interest in the children’s home life which we love. The nursery do lots of workshops for various events and take the children on day trips to local parks, libraries, the zoo etc. The nursery is extremely flexible and their prices are reasonable which is great for working parents. My daughter has built a really special bond with all staff, but especially her key worker Libby. I can’t recommend Lilypads enough. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I felt at ease leaving my little 1 at this nursery. The staff are so welcoming and they are like a family. I walked in on viewing the nursery and felt so relaxed and comfortable. My girl went toddling off with a staff member and didn't look back once. She cries when I have to pick her up to go home. But will happily open her arms to go in of a morning. An amazing setting and a lovely team.
