The nursery is structured into two main rooms: 'Tiddlywinks' for under 2s, offering a secure space for babies and toddlers with various age-appropriate activities and direct garden access, and 'Skittles' for 2-5 year olds, which provides an open-plan environment with dedicated areas for creativity, mark-making, and construction, also with its own enclosed garden featuring a playhouse and climbing frame. Each child is assigned a keyworker who supports their settling-in, fosters positive relationships, and meticulously documents their learning journey.

The nursery consistently updates its curriculum based on children's interests and communicates regularly with parents to ensure a holistic learning experience.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Children, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), learn to feel safe and confident in the care of the experienced staff. Staff strongly support children with SEND, identifying gaps in learning early and working with professionals and parents to plan future learning. They use additional funding to extend staff training, for example, on using sign language.

Outdoor space

Children enjoy searching for bugs and worms in the exciting muddy garden, identifying them on their charts and listening to well-chosen books about them.
