Little Cherubs Nursery, situated in West Byfleet, Surrey, has been a trusted childcare provider since its establishment in October 2000. Originally an old church, the premises were transformed by owner Sally Wright in 1999, and the nursery has since expanded from 28 to 32 children in May 2013.
Committed to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework, the nursery's educational programmes are designed around seven key areas of learning and development, with a focus on catering to diverse learning styles. The team, led by manager Elaine Baston since August 2011, strives to create a supportive and engaging environment for children from birth to five years old.
Their objectives include fostering strong partnerships with parents, addressing individual needs, providing a key person for each child, promoting learning through play, and ensuring a high staff-to-child ratio with ongoing training. The nursery makes the transition from home to nursery as smooth as possible through settling-in sessions, and they offer flexible care plans alongside advice and support for parents.
Little Cherubs Nursery holds an overall 'good' rating from its latest Ofsted inspection in May 2023.

Inclusion & environment
Toddlers and pre-school children benefit from daily access to the well-equipped nursery garden and thoroughly enjoy their time in it. However, younger children do not routinely benefit from being active in the fresh air, which does not support their physical health and well-being.
Such a wonderful nursery. Our daughter has just left for school after being at Little Cherubs since she was a year old. The team are lovely, kind, supportive and fun, and work hard to create a safe and nurturing environment for the kids, with child development at the heart of everything they do. The space isn’t as large as other nurseries, which made us hesitate initially before choosing it, but what you get as a result is a sense of having an extended family! The team are very creative with how they use the space they have and when they want to give the kids more they take them out on lots of exciting trips locally! Our daughter has loved being at Little Cherubs. And we, as parents, felt incredibly supported and understood. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone considering a nursery for their child.
Read on GoogleLittle Cherubs Day Nursery has been a fantastic choice for our daughter since she started there at just 1 year old. The staff, particularly Lynsey, are exceptional. It’s wonderful to see the same faces as she grows; even though she’s moved up from Lynsey’s class, she still runs to give Lynsey a big hug whenever they see each other. This continuity really shows how well the team knows and supports each other, creating a nurturing environment for the kids. The staff’s teamwork shines through in how they handle parent requests. They were very supportive and proactive when we discussed nap times and the right moment to start potty training for Olivia. Their approachability and willingness to work with parents’ requests make a huge difference. We feel confident and reassured leaving our daughter in their capable hands each day.
Read on GoogleLittle Cherubs is such a lovely nursery made very special by the staff who are all so kind and caring towards the children. Our son has been there for over 2 and a half years and absolutely loves it. All the children, no matter what age, are known by name by all the staff. They do so many fun activities with the children, it is a lovely environment and the children are all so happy. I highly recommend this nursery, it’s a gem.
Read on GoogleFantastic nursery in every way, could not ask for more. The staff are so good with our daughter and she has settled in so well. Always being updated on how she is getting on during the day, meals and naps she’s had, photos of what she’s been up to……I would recommend this nursery to any parent without any hesitation.
Read on GoogleOur son has been at Little Cherubs for 2.5 years. He has been in all 3 class levels and we are delighted with how he is looked after, nurtured and developed. He loves going there, the staff and activities are second to none
