What it's like
The provider has made some improvements since the previous inspection, ensuring leaders and staff have attended training about desired knowledge for children. However, some staff lack a secure understanding of how to deliver the new curriculum consistently and how children learn, leading to activities not effectively building on previous learning, which negatively impacts children's progress and attitudes.

We put our little boy into Little Dragonfly a few days a week over the summer. He loved it and the staff where amazing. They made him feel right at home and was settled in after a few minutes. The holiday times are perfect for anyone working 9-5. I would recommend to anyone
Read on GoogleLove our nursery, staff are so lovely and accommodating and can tell they actually care about my little girl xx
Read on GoogleMy toddler started here in November 2025 and she is thriving. She gets lots of outdoor play, engaging activities and storytime. The staff were incredibly supportive with potty training and they do a lot for the kids, throwing Christmas and Easter parties and going on fun little trips with the children. My child is always handed over with clean clothes on, and they let me know how her day has been, what she's had to eat and what she's been up to. They do stay and play sessions so you can get to see what they like to do and how they are with their friends and the staff. It's only a small nursery so you get to know all the staff and they know my child really well. I have other children who have been to bigger nurseries and this one is the best by far. The staff are easy to reach out to if you have any concerns, and they're always available to talk. When I first reached out to try and find local childcare, this was the only nursery that wasn't funny with me about the hours required. Some tried to upsell, telling me she could struggle if she didn't have full days. Laura (Manager) of Little Dragonflies on the other hand was really approachable, and this nursery was happy to do sessional childcare, and they do a great job.
