Little Thinkers Nurseries, a registered charity, provides a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. ' The nursery aims to guide children's learning adventures by fostering their natural inquisitiveness and supporting them in imagining, predicting, and understanding the world around them.
With locations in Kent, Portsmouth, and Paignton, Little Thinkers focuses on providing quality childcare and early years education.
Our ethos
Little Thinkers employs a 'thinking nursery' approach, centred on developing children's curiosity, confidence, and resilience. It aims to foster children's natural inquisitiveness, encouraging them to imagine, predict, and understand the world through guided learning adventures.
What it's like
Children are happy and content and receive warm welcomes from staff who support them to settle. However, key-person arrangements are not effective, meaning some children, including the youngest and those with SEND, do not consistently have their learning and development needs met.

Inclusion & environment
The arrangements for children with SEND are generally effective; staff work with parents and other professionals, make referrals in a timely manner, and have individual plans with targets and strategies. However, weaknesses in the key-person approach mean children's learning experiences are impacted and some children with SEND do not consistently have their learning and development needs met.
Children have lots of opportunities to build on their physical skills; babies are supported to develop core muscles and take early steps, and older children enjoy using trikes and bikes as they access the outdoors. Older children independently access drinks from accessible water stations outdoors, though babies do not have fresh drinking water available at all times.
It is one of the best Nurseries in Portsmouth .After trying a few more before Little Thinkers. Our child was quite happy with this Nursery. We were happy with the staff ,meals etc...
Read on GoogleLittle Thinkers are absolutely fantastic! All the staff are brilliant and always so friendly. I know that my daughter is in the best hands there. The 3 meals a day and 2 snacks are great and means I don't have to send my daughter in with anything (except breastmilk). The app is great as it lists everything you need to know on there about their day. Highly recommend!
Read on GooglePick up is a big problem, long time waiting only for the staff to chat with the parent for nonsense and without acknowledgment. Speak rude and not supportive.
