About this day nursery

Little Villagers Pre-School and Forest School, established in 2006, relocated in 2019 to the expansive grounds of Woodcote House School in Windlesham, Surrey. This move allows the pre-school to utilise the beautiful outdoor spaces for its Forest School programme, led by a dedicated Forest School leader.

The pre-school prides itself on its strong curriculum, which is rooted in the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), aiming to foster each child's individual development. Owned and managed by Karen Henderson-Williams, who brings extensive experience in early years education, Little Villagers has a consistent record of achieving 'Outstanding' OFSTED reports, being one of only two pre-schools in Surrey to secure three consecutive such ratings.

The staff team is highly experienced and committed to providing a nurturing environment where children can thrive and become their best selves. The pre-school offers a unique blend of indoor learning and outdoor exploration, encouraging children to take managed risks and connect with nature.

What it's like

Children thrive in the pre-school, benefiting from highly impressive individual settling-in arrangements and building secure attachments with their key person. They are eager to engage in extensive activities, demonstrating a tremendous attitude to learning and exploring, investigating, and finding out new things in a highly stimulating environment. Children's behaviour is exemplary, as they learn to manage their own actions, negotiate with others, and understand the difference between right and wrong.

Pricing & funding

The nursery charges a non-refundable registration fee and a deposit due one term before starting to secure a place. Fees are payable termly and must be settled electronically by the end of the first week of term.

Little Villagers provides a fantastic, safe, happy and caring environment. It is a wonderful place for children to first experience school and so giving them a love of learning that will follow them throughout life. I would highly recommend it and so would my Daughter!
