Inclusion & environment

How they support every child

SEND provision

The special educational needs coordinator works effectively in partnership with outside agencies and parents. Practitioners ensure that all children with special educational needs and/or disabilities receive good support to help them to close gaps in their learning. This has a positive impact on the quality of education that all children receive.

Outdoor space

Outside, children use ride-on bikes, balance on low beams, and climb up and go down a slide, which benefits their small- and large-muscle development.

EAL / language support

There is good support for children who speak English as an additional language. Practitioners understand the importance of children using their home languages alongside English as they play and learn. Some staff speak several languages and are skilful in their interactions with children, supporting children's next steps in education.
