Inclusion & environment
Children, particularly those with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), benefit from the new ideas and fresh approaches that staff have brought to the pre-school as a result of recent continuous professional development. Staff spoke to the inspector about how they support children with SEND.
Staff make the most of opportunities for outdoor learning in all weathers. In this space, children move freely, developing their gross motor skills as they climb, slide and peddle tricycles. They use the mud kitchen to fuel their imaginative play skills as they scoop and pour garden 'ingredients' to make their own recipes.
This is a horrible nursery, and I’m not sure how they’re still open. My child was in for a few weeks and I took her out. She was 2 and they expected her to just walk up and down icy stairs by herself to promote independence? They were always making the babies do more than they’re capable of at their ages. One of them was really rude to parents and the children. My friend started working their and she left because the way they treat special needs children was disgusting Luckily my child was only in one day a week but it makes me feel sick she went here. It’s a horrible set up. They don’t actually look after the children they just leave them to play. And the adults treat them like they’re little children who can do things for themselves when actually they’re toddlers who need help. It makes me angry it’s still open. Do not send your child here
Read on GoogleAllowed my 2yr old twins to be severely sunburnt. Noticed they were burning and put them back out in the sun for hours! Who puts toddlers in 24c heat for over 4 hours! Absolutely disgusting total lack of care place should be shut down, appropriate authorities have been informed. Prioritising staff spending time in the sun over the health of children
