What it's like to attend

• Children play happily and confidently in a safe, welcoming and well-organised nursery.
• Staff have high expectations of children and successfully help them to make good progress in all areas of learning.
• Children excitedly join in with role-play activities and use their imagination well, learning to play and cooperate with others and develop good social skills.
• Leaders and staff have a shared vision for what they want children to learn, prioritising children's confidence, independence and language skills.
• Staff interact with children well and support their learning effectively, skilfully modelling language to support vocabulary and communication skills.
• Children benefit from staff's good partnerships with parents, who are well-informed about their child's day-to-day routines and care.
• The arrangements for safeguarding are effective, with leaders and staff understanding their responsibilities and ensuring a secure environment.
• Toddlers confidently use ride-on toys outside, and older children balance and manoeuvre on climbing equipment, developing good gross motor skills.
