Inclusion & environment
Staff successfully identify emerging gaps in children's learning and development and swiftly refer to outside agencies to ensure children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) receive the necessary support to progress.
Children spend long periods of time learning outdoors, benefiting from fresh air and exercise. Staff plan activities that encourage exploration and investigation, such as using magnifying glasses to find bugs in the garden.
Staff effectively use various methods, such as picture cards and visual timetables, to support children developing their communication and language skills, which particularly benefits children who speak English as an additional language.
My daughter has been attending Meadows Mere for a few months now and has developed alot in her short time here. The staff are really friendly and accommodating. I love the small close knit vibes the nursery has and the personal touches - they even sent a piece of cake home for her older sister's birthday 🎂 which i thought was adorable 😊
