Owlets Nursery School, located in the heart of Langney at Langney Sports Club, offers a unique and stimulating learning environment for young children. Situated on expansive grounds, the nursery benefits from a natural wooded area and scenic river walks, providing ample opportunities for outdoor exploration regardless of the weather.

The nursery operates within five well-equipped rooms and boasts a secure, large outdoor play area. Emphasising individualised care, Owlets Nursery caters to each child's specific needs within small, focused groups.

The curriculum is meticulously planned to foster development, self-confidence, and a love for learning in a nurturing atmosphere. The dedicated team of Nursery Practitioners, all holding NVQ3+ qualifications, are committed to delivering high-quality education, focusing on enjoyment in learning within a family-oriented setting.

Owlets also collaborates closely with parents, recognising them as crucial learning resources and ensuring a strong home-to-school partnership for a tailored and personal learning experience.

Our ethos

We operate within a suite of 5 well equipped rooms and have access to a safe, secure, large outdoor play area. which we utilise whatever the weather. Ours is a small, friendly, happy setting. We pride ourselves on the fact that all our care and education is geared towards each individual’s needs, within small, focused groups. All staff share the same desire to provide high quality education, emphasising enjoyment in learning, within a loving, “family” orientated setting. The Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum approaches will be addressed through fun, purposeful and well-planned activities. To educate children in a multi-cultural society, creating respect for religious, moral and cultural diversities and values. At Owlets we truly believe that parents are a child’s most important learning resource and that parents know their child best. With this in mind we strive to build close working relationships with each child’s carers, in order to ensure each child gets a personal and unique caring and learning experience tailored to their needs..

What it's like

Staff are caring and nurturing, supporting children to make good progress in their learning and development. They provide a bespoke settling-in period for children, which helps their emotional well-being and readiness to engage in learning. Children generally behave well, demonstrating politeness and following routines, while developing strong independence skills in choosing resources and self-care.

Pricing & funding

Fees are structured around an hourly rate with age-based banding. Separate rates apply for two-year-olds and for children aged three and above, with any additional hours charged at the same hourly rate corresponding to the child's age group.
