SEND provision

The support in place for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is excellent. Assessment procedures are used exceptionally well to check what children know and can do. Staff have an in-depth knowledge of child development and promptly identify any concerns with children's learning, ensuring all children, including those with SEND, receive excellent support and make significant progress from their individual starting points.

Outdoor space

Older children make 'mud pies' outside. They follow the recipe and add the ingredients. They stir up the mixture and proudly present staff with 'lunch'.

Where do I begin in describing how wonderful Mulberry Tottington is. Both of my daughters attended the nursery and truly thrived. The staff are warm, caring, and understood both of my girls and they both loved going to nursery. We developed a fantastic bond with all the staff over the years. The nursery is highly professional, maintains exceptional standards, and I honestly couldn’t recommend it more.

My 4 year old daughter has been here since she was 8 months old and we've always been impressed by the outstanding care they provide. The rooms are lovely, they are clean and look fun, and the staff are just amazing; very caring and friendly and professional. They do lots of activities, my daughter always comes home with drawings or paintings or new songs and dances she's learnt. Whilst the price is expensive, its worth it as she has been so happy and well cared for here. They also have amazing visitors for the kids, magicians and small animals! Nice nutritional food served every day. And their work in preparing her for primary school has been excellent.

The most incredible nursery with the most competent, friendly and caring team. My son has absolutely loved attending Mulberry Bush since he was 10 months old and I couldn’t recommend them more highly. I’ll be devastated when it’s time for him to move on to school. Huge thank you to the whole team for looking after my little one so perfectly and nurturing him like he’s your own!

As a parent of a minority child, finding a nursery where my daughter can be celebrated was part of my consideration. I must say Mulberry Bush Nursery Tottington has exceeded every hope I had. My daughter left nursery highly empowered, and I can't be more grateful to her wonderful teachers. My daughter tells stories that they share every day! The best decision I made for her! Our two eldest children both attend this nursery and we couldn't be more impressed with the care that they receive. Our children are very different individually yet each is encouraged to develop, achieve and thrive at Mulberry Bush. We love watching them develop into confident, independent little people, partially attributed to their time at nursery. We are constantly impressed with the daily activities in which the children partake; they are creative and personalised to childrens' interests. The children leave each day with full tummies (lovely food!!) and most importantly after lots of fun. We cannot recommend this nursery highly enough!!
