5 Stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I couldn’t be happier with my experience at Next Steps. My son has been there for several years — even staying on a bit extra— and the care, love, and guidance he’s received has been incredible. The staff are warm, nurturing, and clearly passionate about what they do. Many have been there a long time, creating such a stable and supportive environment. Sally, in particular, is fantastic — she really knows her stuff and brings such warmth and passion to everything she does. From day one, she made my family feel welcome and reassured. Over his time there, my son has grown into a kind, thoughtful, and confident little boy — and I truly believe so much of that is thanks to the team at Next Steps. It also means so much to me that his brother, who has additional needs, has always been welcomed with kindness and understanding whenever he has visited. That level of care and inclusivity really sets Next Steps apart. I am incredibly grateful to have found such a special place. 💛

Next Steps Nursery has been absolutely exceptional in caring for our son, especially during some tricky transitional periods like moving house and area. They helped him settle quickly and filled his days with fun, engaging activities. The communication was fantastic – we were always kept informed about what he had done each day and how we could best support him at home. They truly provided a nurturing and educational environment where he could thrive, with yoga, forest school, health meals, cooking and plenty of interesting topics to learn about. Thanks to their hard work, he’s went fully prepared for the next step, school. A special thanks to Sally and her amazing team for all their effort and for giving us the peace of mind every parent hopes for. We couldn’t have asked for more!

My daughter has been going to Next Steps since January 2022 and she has been so happy since she joined. I have used many nurseries and childminders since having children and Next Steps is a brilliant nursery. The nursery staff are so friendly, welcoming and nurturing, and we’ve been so happy with the care they have given. They really supported our daughter to explore more foods and she has grown in confidence since being there. The children do a range of activities in pre-school such as arts and crafts, yoga, cooking classes, and play in 2 of their gardens. The children get to explore the bath and west showground; a highlight for the children is walking to the band stand and having hot chocolate. My daughter has made such good relationships and friends at Next Steps and she will be sad to leave them when she goes to school soon. We actively recommend this nursery and we’ll be sending our toddler son there soon. Thank you to all the amazing staff.

Highly recommended Next Steps Childcare ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Our daughter started not long after the lockdown restrictions eased and has loved every session. Not only is there the benefit of the centre being open all year round, the staff are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable and provide excellent care to the children. There is always so much to kept little minds engaged and happy, from arts & crafts, story telling, role play, forest school, class walks, cooking sessions & yoga too! Parents are regularly kept informed of their child’s development and progress from in person parent evenings to monthly focus sheets which gives parents the opportunity see topics being covered, as well as things we can do at home to continue the learning and development with our children. The Preschool, and Sally Apple in particular, are an absolute gem and true credit to the setting. We cannot thank her and her team enough for everything they have done for our daughter. They have really helped to boost her confidence in a group setting which has resulted in her making a core group of friends. Sally has also been brilliant with supporting our family with our daughter’s fussy eating habits to the point she now has a much more varied diet and is willingly exploring new foods, tastes and textures. We will miss everyone at Next Steps greatly when the time comes to move onto big school in September.

We were so lucky to be able to send our son to Next Steps, this place is an absolute gem! Everyone is extremely helpful, friendly, our son has never complained and neither can we. The team works together and children develop all sorts of skills during their time here. They go for walks, play in the forest school, cook, bake, yoga, learn about different aspects of life, careers and develop great friendships. We definitely recommend this setting and would really like to thank everyone for their kind and caring ways.
