The preschool operates within the Methodist Chapel rooms and is a charity-run organisation, managed by a dedicated team of staff and a voluntary committee of parents and carers.

Pricing & funding

Charges are structured around hourly rates, morning or afternoon half-day sessions, three-quarter days, and full days. Fees are reviewed annually, with the current rate structure effective from April 2025. Additional small charges may apply for termly enrichment activities like Yoga and Forest School.

How they support every child

SEND provision

The support for children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND) is exemplary. Staff know children extremely well and are in tune with their needs, making excellent use of strategies like sign language and picture cards for non-verbal children. Funding ensures one-to-one support for children with SEND, helping them make the best possible progress.

Outdoor space

Children engage in woodland activities, learning to use fire strikers. Children work together as a team to quickly tidy the garden. Staff help children to identify and fix hazards, such as uneven ground in the garden, and teach them about measuring and managing risk with "risky tools". Parents are welcomed into the setting to join weekly forest school sessions.
