  • Leaders have addressed previous actions and the new manager has significantly improved the quality of care and education.
  • Leaders ensure staff complete progress checks for two- to three-year-olds, effectively identifying gaps and putting support in place, meeting the needs of all children, including those with SEND.
  • Staff support children to become independent, encouraging them to manage personal needs like dressing themselves for outdoors and washing hands thoroughly.
  • Children demonstrate understanding of early mathematical concepts by counting eggs and children at tables, with staff modelling mathematical vocabulary.

How they support every child

SEND provision

Leaders and staff work in partnership with parents and other professionals, sharing key information about children and their needs to ensure continuity of care and education. The needs of all children, including children with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), are met. The special educational needs coordinator spoke to the inspector about how they support children with SEND.

Outdoor space

Children eagerly run outside to see if the hens have laid any eggs. Staff support children to become independent by encouraging them to put on their own outdoor clothing
