Inclusion & environment
Staff promptly recognise the signs that some children may need additional help and support with their learning or development. They work alongside parents to implement targeted support and make referrals to appropriate professionals for additional guidance. The manager and staff ensure that additional funding, such as early years pupil premium, is used effectively to benefit the children who receive it.
Staff promote children's physical development well, encouraging pre-school children to learn how to use the pedals on tricycles. Staff complete risk assessments to ensure that the nursery environment is a safe place for children to play. However, staff do not always make the most of opportunities to help children learn how to keep safe by assessing risk for themselves.
My child has come on in leaps and bounds attending the nursery so lovely to see. The staff is friendly and well prepared to keep the children safe, active and engaged. A warm and safe environment.Thank you to all the brilliant team for all the hard work you do to make the nursery such a lovely place.
Read on GoogleI have used Parkview day nursery for both of my children and I can honestly say that the manager and all staff took great care of them both. As a working mum I was initially worried about leaving my child in someone else's care but the love, care and attention given each and every day put me at ease. The manager has been phenomenal, approachable and very child focused, attending any concerns or queries me or my child had and I could see that with other parents she spoke to. I appreciated the professional conduct of the manager and can see safeguarding was always maintained, whether it was about food, medicines, or entering or leaving the building. I was also welcomed and accommodated in being able to attend events at the nursery such as stay and stay sessions and picnic at the park. My child made good friends at nursery and was often bringing things home that he drew or wrote. I appreciated the effort staff made to tell me about his day when he was collected from nursery too. My child finished nursery happy and school ready. The graduation party was beautifully organised and left me feeling very proud but also grateful to all the staff that played their part in the first important years of my childrens life. A big thank you!

Since Erandi took over the nursery the laugher is louder than ever, the hugs are tighter and the nursery has a lot more to offer! From picnics in the park to an amazing graduation party! It’s somewhere you want your child to be! Thank you for every cuddle and caring word!❤️
Read on GoogleA very good nursery for foundation children. They have a good program to prepare children to move to school smoothly... The staff is cooperative and considerate. I will recommend it for anyone looking for a good nursery on east park road.
Read on GoogleI was really anxious about sending my daughter to nursery so small, I searched far and wide to find a nursery that I could trust with my baby, after the first visit I felt the love the staff have to offer the children and the feeling that my baby would be in safe hands was immediate. As the months have passed the happiness my daughter feels walking into the nursery and seeing her teachers melts my heart. The staff are lovely and treat the children like there own, I thank all the staff for the hard work in ensuring my child develops and progresses in her early years and have seen many changes in her behaviour such as tidying up after herself, wanting to eat independently and much more. The regular photograhs of my child playing, painting, learning about animals and messy play is something i dont do regulary with my baby and i look forward to the uploads of her in her own little world having fun. I would highly recommend this nursery for people looking for somewhere which is multicultural, has respectful staff, lovely manager, healthy food and much more and I appreciate all your work in helping K...a become a smart, well mannered, sociable toddler.
